About Oromoon

Our Story

Oromoon started as a question: what if you actually understood yourself? Ancient cultures built civilizations around it, looking up at the same sky. We built an app.

It began in New York, the loneliness that hits you in a crowd of eight million and sends you inward. Late nights, birth charts, and the realization that the oldest systems of self-knowledge were also the most precise.

We built this the first time in 2020, walked away, and started over. Some things have to break before they get built right. ✦

Our Mission

Astrology is one of the oldest languages humans built, precise enough to track personality, timing, and fate with nothing but observation and time. We think that deserves more than a meme.

Modern neuroscience confirms what ancient systems knew: the stories we tell about ourselves reshape our brains, and patterns can change. Oromoon is built on that intersection, cosmic intelligence as a tool for real shift.

For people who've outgrown "you're such a Scorpio" and want to know why the same patterns keep showing up. Not a vibe check, not a personality quiz. A real system for knowing yourself differently. ✦

Our Purpose

The most radical thing you can do right now is know yourself, in the specific, precise, this is why I keep doing that way that actually changes behavior.

The stories you tell about yourself, the patterns you unconsciously run, are not permanent. They're rewirable, and Oromoon is where that rewiring starts.

A moment of cosmic clarity before the day takes over: your chart, your placements, what the sky is doing right now and why you're feeling it. Not a horoscope written for a twelfth of the population, a precise system for showing up differently.

We're not here to predict your future. We're here to change how you walk into it. ✦

From the Founder

Moving to New York after graduation introduced me to a kind of loneliness I wasn't prepared for. The city was full of people and I couldn't reach any of them. That's what sent me inward, and inward is where I found astrology.

Not the horoscope column kind. The kind where you sit with your birth chart and something finally clicks. Not a revelation. More like a recognition. Oh. So that's why.

I started reading charts for people around me and the word spread in ways I didn't expect. People would come back months later and tell me I'd described their next partner before they'd even met. My first skeptics were men on Wall Street. They believed it too. That's when I understood what this could be.

Time I spent in Thailand sharpened that conviction. Buddhist philosophy, feng shui, the understanding that energy and environment shape us: ancient systems don't survive thousands of years by accident. That's woven into how I think about this work. And it connects to something modern science keeps arriving at too: the mind is the most powerful tool we have. The stories we tell about ourselves, the patterns we run without realizing it, they are not fixed. They are rewirable. Astrology, at its best, is one of the most elegant tools for that rewiring.

That's what Oromoon is built on. The belief that self-knowledge is the foundation of everything. That when you understand yourself clearly, something shifts, in how you work, how you love, how you move through the world.

The stars have always been trying to tell us something. We're just finally listening.

with love, steph ✦
